Estes Park, Colorado is a popular vacation destination. Nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains near Rocky Mountain National Park, there is plenty for visitors to do and see.

On Memorial Day weekend, from May 28th to May 30th, the town will be hosting the Estes Park Antique and Collectibles Show. Over 2,000 people visit the town for this occasion. In addition to the Antique and Collectible show from 10am to 5pm, there will be a art show. Art show hours are Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 6pm and Monday from 9 am to 3pm. Admission to the art show is free; admission to the Antique and Collectible show is $1 per person per day.
June 9th through June 12th is the annual Wool Market. This event features demonstrations, contests, a children’s tent, and exhibits about wool products. Wool items will also be offered for sale. Over 10,000 people come to the area to take part in the activities. Shoppers will love more than 50 vendors that are selling all sorts of handmade items. The Annual Estes Park Marathon event will be held June 12th. In addition to the marathon, there is a 10k and 5k race as well as a Half Marathon. Walkers are welcome to join the fun too. The events are considered challenging due to the high altitude of the area. The highest elevation is 8,150 feet and the lowest point on the course is 7,420 feet. June 24th and June 25th, the Westernaires will be performing. This riding group is known for their precision drill performances as well as their trick riding and acrobatic skills. Tickets for the Estes Park show are $8. Box seats are $12. Children under 3 are admitted for free. The show begins at 7 pm at the Estes Park Fairgrounds.
