I love finding relaxing places to unwind at and to relieve myself from stress. I decided to let my fingers navigate the web to find beautiful places to visit right here in Denver and throughout Colorado.  I found some fascinating new places to explore and decided to try them all. Indeed, I decided to experience all the well-known hot springs in Colorado. Come and join my trip as I take you there.

Our first stop is Dunton Hot Springs. Located in the southwestern part of Telluride, this enchanting location offers a variety of packages and activities that you will enjoy. It includes cross-country skiing, hiking, mountain-biking, kayaking, and snow-tubing. Equestrian riding and fishing are the main attractions. If you wish to have family reunions or even weddings here, then you can rent the whole town! They offer round-the-clock security and an airport shuttle.

Now let us go to Glenwood Springs, the world’s largest hot spring pool. It is conveniently located between Aspen and Vail. The water is full of minerals that many believed have a healing benefit; they certainly have had a positive effect on me. You can soak your entire body to warm your spirit or simply swim with your kids to explore its timeless wonder. You can do different activities here like water-slides, golf, biking, water rafting, and snowmobiling. They offer group discounts. You can also take advantage of their fitness facilities, and broadband internet connection.

Another attraction in Colorado is Hot Sulphur Springs in Grand County. Though refurbished, it offers a relaxing escape from the polluted world.  People used to visit this mineral springs for medical purposes. Nowadays, visitors can still benefit from its relaxing effect especially when they get pampered in Hot Sulphur Springs Resort & Spa. Just a tip, if you love hiking, you may also include Arapahoe National Forest in your list as it is very close to the resort.

Our next destination is in Idaho Springs, known as the “Bridal Veil Falls”, located in Clear Creek Canyon. It used to be a mining district, but is now a tourist attraction. Yes, they found gold here! Another fact that they are proud of are their quality restaurants that are also affordable. After your exhausting day, recharge your energy by drenching your body in the hot mineral waters of the springs and the delicious food. Take your time to tour around Argo Gold Mine and Mill. You will enjoy going underground in Phoenix Gold mine too.

Ouray, Colorado is another good spot to explore. It is situated in southwestern Colorado and nicknamed “Switzerland of America”. Here, you can plunge into the Ouray Hot Springs Pool, where natural hot springs water provides an invigorating touch to your body.

Steamboat Springs is another wonderful location for recreational activities especially if you are into skiing. Conveniently located in northwestern Colorado, the city boasts their Yampa River suitable for boating activities, fishing, and rafting. This location offers a wide space where you can go skiing.

This is no ordinary Colorado tour! I hope you have enjoyed it.
