As one of the best and top cities in the USA, Denver, Colorado, is making a huge progress in every possible aspect. This city concentrates on sports, education, tourism, travel, business opportunities, and is making a noticeable progress in every one of these aspects.

  • Tourism: Denver is one of the most popular tourist attractions. With hundreds of entertainment and amusement parks, museums, zoos, restaurants, historic sites, and more, Denver attracts tens of thousands of tourists from around the world each year.
  • Sports: This city really takes care of sports. The proof of that is that it has 8 professional teams, where 4 of them play in the mainstream major leagues.
  • Education: I’m sure you’ve heard a lot about Denver schools in the news. Concentrating on its schools and education system, it has become known for its high quality schools and universities.
  • Business: Denver also has a lot to offer in the business opportunity domain. Many of its companies have been ranked among the best companies to work for in the entire US.

Each year, Denver, Colorado chooses up to four individuals and one deceased person to introduce them into its Tourism Hall Of Fame. This Hall Of Fame was created to recognize and honor dedicated and professional people who contributed something to Denver. As all members of the bureau of VISIT DENVER are encouraged to submit their nominations, nominees are ranked and evaluated according to the level and importance of their contribution to Denver’s travel and tourism industry.

The goal of this Hall Of Fame is not just to honor and recognize top leaders and contributors, but also to raise funds for the Visit Denver Foundation, which gives scholarships every year to students who want to get a degree in the hospitality industry. While this prize is considered the highest that Denver gives in its travel industry, people in this industry seem to appreciate it a lot. Top contributing organizations are also given the Tourism Star Award, which stands for their effort at taking Denver tourism to the next level.

This year 3 figures will be induced into the Denver and Colorado Hall Of Fame. This event will be during the Hall Of Fame dinner on March, 2nd at the Seawell Grand Ballroom in the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The figures induced are former Governor Bill Ritter, Denver’s dance legend Cleo Parker Robinson and the retired 20-year Chief of the Colorado Springs Convention Bureau.
