The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA,) the organization that created Bandimere Speedway, was set on fire for a pre-season test on April 16th and 17th. The test was a great opportunity to have a positive run down on the track. Entry was $35 for the competitors and $10 for spectators. The list of a series of events for the drag racing included a 4 wheel parts rock crawl, annual awards dinner, Best of Detroit foot brake, Cummins Rocky Mountains Truck Fest, and many more being organized all throughout the 2011 season. This quarter-mile drag strip is located just outside the cities of Morrison and Lakewood, Colorado.

The fast advancing event of twenty eleven has two stops, one in June which is the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Division 5 races and the other debut is in July, which is the Full Throttle Drag Racing Series of Mopar Mile High Nationals. Another kick off to the 2011 events is the return of the NAPA Auto Parts “Night of Fire and Thunder,” and the Big O Tires “Super Chevy Show” by Stevenson Chevrolet. All this is followed by other knockout special events making the season a wonderful hit in the Denver area.

Tickets for these events are available during office hours from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm MST. Methods of payment include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and of course cash. A word of caution is that tickets, once booked, are non-refundable. Printed tickets that were bought online are also acceptable at the entry. The course instructs a series of rules for the do’s and don’ts, which have been noted to make the event more pleasant. The event is sponsored by a list of brands with a few major ones including JR Racer Cap, Budweiser, Pepsi, Big O Tires, Grease Monkey, Tool King, Tuff Shed, Action Karting, and many more.  With so much of the public waiting for the season to begin and participate in the heated atmosphere, ticket sales have skyrocketed. Products are marketed on sign boards on either side of the quarter-mile track and this increases the glory of the track. The rates for advertising are effectively less and promote the platform to host a series of products. Marketing spree also includes event managing in different arenas. A few of these include:

1.     Event sponsorship and promotions

2.      Track signage

3.      Advertising in Bandimere Speed highway’s high lights, E news and

4.      Event displays

5.      Hospitality and catering

6.      VIP tower suites and corporate villages

Upcoming events include Tech and Test, Day Test, Pennzoil Ultra E.T. Series, CSP “Tack it to the track”, Randy Coy and son’s Denver Aut, Club Clash presented by Corvette and the Race Car Test Night. All these are hosted from April 20th to May 5th. Bandimere Speedway hosts a whole slew of awesome events, which is an attraction to all those who feel the need for speed!
