Home Cookin’ at Denver’s White Fence Farm

The White Fence Farm is a Denver restaurant where you can pet the farm animals and then go inside and eat a country-style meal afterward.

The colonial-style restaurant is set on a compound-like area with beautiful landscaping and a couple of specialty shops, including “Colorado Christmas” where it’s Christmas all year long.

White Fence Farm is a very family-friendly Denver attraction because while you wait to be seated, the kids can feed the fishes in the pond, play on the playground or mini farm and pet the farm animals. There is also a two-story slide and an arcade nearby.

Live country and bluegrass music is played on the farmhouse stage and dining takes place in one of eight unique country-style rooms.

Try their famous fried chicken or T-bone steak. All meals are served family style and come with hot corn fritters, pickled red beets, creamy coleslaw, scrumptious kidney bean salad, special blend cottage cheese and a choice of baked, mashed or fried potato.

As a result, anyone who joins you but doesn’t order a meal will still be charge a fee because they will be tempted to munch on the sides and no doggy bags allowed.

Finish up with one of their scrumptious desserts and relax on one of the rocking chaired porches while others go shopping for souvenirs. You also have the option of taking a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride through the grounds of White Fence Farm.

This Colorado restaurant is closed on Mondays but can accommodate a party of up to 300 people.

Located just minutes from Downtown Denver, make sure you come to White Fence Farm hungry and ready to enjoy a country farm feast with generous southern hospitality.

White Fence Farm is located at:
6263 West Jewell Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80232
