The Coral Room Restaurant is located at 3489 W 3rd Avenue in Denver. The restaurant, which was established in 2002, is owned by east coast transplant John Nadasdy. John has worked in such famous restaurants as The Grand Lake Lodge and The Rapids Lodge and Restaurant and worked as executive chef for several years until current executive chef Jon Haveland was hired.
Other restaurant staff include: bar manager Chris Brooks; weekend brunch manager Evan Smith; Chef Greg Lyons; wine buyer and bartender Grant Williams; and Chef Eduardo, the weekday breakfast chef.
The restaurant’s executive chef is Jon Haveland. Jon was born in New Jersey, but grew up in Michigan and attended Oakland Community College where he received a degree in culinary arts. Jon likes to cook simple yet elegant dishes which contain local and organic ingredients whenever possible. The selections offered on the menu at the restaurant are a reflection of this fact. Whether you are hungry for a Colorado filet mignon, or if you are wanting to try the new menu selections like coconut tempura prawns in peanut sauce, you will love dining at The Coral Room.
The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner, and desserts. In addition, they also have a menu just for kids. If you are looking to cater your next event, you might want to check out the restaurant’s catering menu as well. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch weekdays from 9am to 2 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant has a brunch which it serves from 9am to 2pm. Dinner is served every day starting at 4pm.
The Coral Room also has Happy Hour from 4pm to 6:30 pm each day of the week at the restaurant’s famous horseshoe shaped bar. During Happy Hour, there are drink and appetizer specials for guests. Specials include $3 drafts, $6 wine specials, and $4 cocktails. You can also order appetizers with a two for one special deal. The restaurant also features a Late night Happy Hour each and every Friday and Saturday from 10 pm to closing. Late night Happy Hour specials include $3 drinks.
