Auraria campus is located in downtown Denver. The campus houses three different universities: University of Colorado at Denver, Community College of Denver, and Metropolitan State College of Denver. Overlooking the east of the South Platte River and located south of Cherry Creek, this university campus is near the original Auraria mining center of 1859. This is how it inherited its name.

The universities work together to offer high quality education and make their students worthy citizens who give back to their communities.
