Concert For Cash Benefiting Children’s Hospital

admin January 21, 2011 0

The Cash Scanion Phillips Fund is putting on a concert benefit for children and families that come through the Children’s Hospital. Denver is welcome to the Concert For Cash featuring The Hollyfelds and Hillbilly Inferno this Saturday, January 22, 2011 starting at 6 pm at The Oriental Theater.

In addition to the performances by these two artists, VIP access will enjoy live jazz by Peter Bryson. They will also indulge in appetizers from Shells and Sauce, gelato and cupcakes from the infamous Denver Cupcake Truck. The evening will also include a silent auction and drawing with prizes from many donors, including multiple ski resorts across the Colorado Rockies.

The Cash Scanion Phillips Fund began shortly after little Cash Scanion Phillips died at 4 months old from Spinal Muscular Atrophy. His parents, though grieving, put their energy forth in helping others who needed comfort and care at Children’s Hospital in Denver by raising money for the Healing Garden in Celebration of Cash, which is outside of the hospital for those needing some solace and peace.

Proceeds from this Colorado concert will go to The Bereavement Program and The International Adoption Clinic at Children’s Hospital.
