John Mark Karr, previously arrested in Thailand for confessing to the murder of pageant princess JonBenet Ramsey of Boulder, Colorado in 1996 is back at the top of Denver news.
After Karr’s Colorado release for his false confession of the Ramsey murder, he was last seen in 2008 being led away in handcuffs from his parent’s house after a domestic dispute with his then girlfriend.
Currently, Karr is the subject of an unofficial nationwide manhunt. Or womanhunt.
Karr claims that he has been undergoing a sex change operation since we last saw him in the public and goes by the name of Alexis Valoran Reich or Delia Alexis Reich.
Officials are trying to track him down through Facebook, Twitter and any other online means because he is trying to create a cult of JonBenet Ramsey lookalikes called “The Immaculates.” This cult consists of blonde girls with small feet as young as 4 years old.
Nineteen-year-old Samantha Spiegel brought this Denver news to the nation’s attention from San Francisco. Spiegel, once engaged to Karr, recovered from their intense relationship in rehab and upon release began receiving threats after failing to reconnect with him.
Through email messages Spiegel showed in court, Karr spoke of killing her “If you cost me my little girls I will hunt you down and kill you.”
It is estimated that Karr is currently located in Seattle. Often living in homeless shelters, Karr has as many as 30 followers who not only recruit “Immaculates” but also provide him with food, money and computers to remain in the shadows.
At least, catching Karr would result in a cyberstalking charge since he has very little personal contact with alleged victims. At most, catching John Mark Karr/Alexis Valoran Reich could prevent a potential Charles Manson.
