Considered a Colorado tradition, the Denver Coliseum has provided the state with a wide range of special events and entertainment. It is the right place to bring the family to see various events up close. It regularly hosts various concerts, auto and truck shows, ice skating events, cheerleading competitions and Native American pow-wows. It aims to maintain and create premier facilities and optimum environment where to present entertainment, cultural, public assembly and sporting events for the benefit and enjoyment of the public.

Owned by the Division of Theatres and Arenas of the City and County of Denver, the coliseum takes pride in its comfortable people-sized seating close to the action. The farthest seat is just 28 rows from the floor, with all seats having unobstructed views. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2002, the coliseum continues to host a range of entertainment and special events for the community.

The Denver Coliseum is situated at I-70 and Humboldt Street, east of the junction of I-25 and I-70. It is located about 25 miles from Denver International Airport.

The coliseum recently hosted the Adams City HS Graduation. Upcoming events include the CHSAA volleyball on November 10 and 11. It is also home to the National Western Stock Show, the biggest stock show in the world by number of animals, offering the only carload and pen cattle show. Next year’s National Western Stock Show will be held on January 7 to 22.

Theatres and Arenas marketing department, together with Proxy Partners, its community partner management company, develops sponsorship opportunities customized to fit the strategic business goals of your organization. Since real partnerships are the center of its success, the department seeks to know your organization’s objectives for them to help you succeed in the business. Sample programs include onsite promotions, sampling, exhibit, product display and signage, year-round presence at its venues, cross-promotions, hospitality and special events, grassroots marketing, media, and licensing of venue name and marks.

Kids under two years old generally do not need a ticket to watch an event at the coliseum. They have to sit on adult’s lap and should not interfere with other’s seat. You can buy tickets at the Denver Coliseum box office, which is normally open an hour before the door time on the event’s day. Some events like the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo, Disney on Ice and Ringling Bros. Circus sell tickets two hours before the showtime.

The Denver Coliseum is in close proximity to various hotels. These include the Colonial Manor Motel, Quality Inn Central Denver Downtown and Holiday Inn Hotel Denver.
