The ski school at Copper Mountain Ski Resort offers private lessons, group lessons, adult and youth seasonal programs, and competition and training. They also have Woodward at Copper. In this article, we are going to offer information on each of these topics.
Private lessons are available for skiing and snowboarding. You receive all the benefits of lift line priority, a pace that best suits you and individual attention from an experienced instructor. You can also have a group of 6 for private lessons. Lessons are available for all ranges of abilities. For a full day (6 hours) of lessons cost $499, and a half day (3 hours) of lessons is $349. They have one package called the Storm King Private. It consists of 20, 6-hour lessons, and you can choose which days you want the lessons on during the season. For this package, you are going to spend $9,300.
With group lessons, you can ski with a friendly group of people like you, or let your children ski with a group of their age and ability. This is for skiing and snowboarding. In the adult group lessons, you will learn curve, build confidence, and enjoy spending time with others of your ability. Youth lessons are for ages 6-15 and they get the opportunity to make new friends, and explore cool new ski trails.
Adult and youth seasonal programs
The youth seasonal programs divide the children into age groups, and the ages are from 3 to 18 years old. The youth instructors create an environment that will allow the children to take their riding and skiing to a new level. For the adult seasonal programs, there are 2 to choose from. The Bump Buster Club is to help you master your mogul skiing technique. The Women’s Wednesday is taught by women to help women take their skills to the next level.
Competition and training
You can enjoy the challenge of the Public Race Arena and the excitement of competition. They also have an Alpine snowboarding program that will help you take your snowboarding to the next level. The Master’s program is for skiers that want to improve in Master Races.
Woodard at Copper
This is a year round skiing and snowboarding program that offers winter day camps and week long summer programs. They also have an indoor ski and snowboarding training facility with foam pits and Snowflex jumps that is dedicated to pipe progression and terrain park.
