The Coors Brewing Company has seven different breweries all over the country and lucky for Colorado, the largest one is in Colorado. Located in Golden, CO, the Coors Brewery founded by Adolph Coors in 1873 is the largest single-site brewery in the world. Yes, there are free tours and free samples.

Located 25 minutes from the heart of Denver, this Coors Brewery produces 22 million barrels and packages up to 16 million barrels of beer annually. They also co-own and partners with the largest aluminum can manufacturing plant in the nation down the street in Wheat Ridge.

The free Colorado Coors Brewery tour is self-guided and takes visitors through the process of developing beer from the fermentation stage all the way to the bottles capped and stickered. The tour itself takes approximately half an hour. At the end of the tour Denver visitors can enjoy free samples in a refrigerated room on ice cube benches and visit the Coors & Co. gift shop.
