The Denver Microbrew Tour is a one and a half mile guided walking tour that takes place in Denver’s lower downtown area. The tour includes beer sampling sessions at different microbreweries in the area.
The tour aims to educate as well as entertain: participants learn everything they would ever want or need to know about beer including beer trivia, as well as information about local Denver history. Tour participants are rewarded with a pint of beer at the end of the tour too.
Tours take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 5:15pm. Recently, the tour added a Saturday time slot form 12 pm to 2:15pm. Tickets to the tour cost $23 per person. There is also a $1.99 service fee on all tickets and tickets must be purchased in advance before the tour. The Denver Microbrew Tour starts at the Great Divide Brewing Company on Arapahoe Street in Denver. Participants should bring some water to cleanse their palate between beer samples, some snacks to munch on, and a valid photo ID. If your photo ID has expired, you can’t try Of course, all participants must be 21 years of age. Wear comfortable walking shoes!
Tours go on rain or shine unless the weather is very bad. If that happens, tour participants will be contacted in advance of the event and their money refunded.
