This year’s Spring Fever in Breckenridge is being presented by Cadillac and the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Spring Fever events will take place on the Breckenridge Resort mountainside and in town from April 1 – 24, 2011. Spring Fever will welcome visitors from in and out of town for one of the most exciting events of the year. The last day of Spring Fever is also the last operational day for the ski resort for the year.
Why is it called Spring Fever? As it says on the Breckenridge website: “Wikipedia defines Spring Fever as: ‘A term applied to several sets of physical and psychological symptoms associated with the arrival of Spring. It refers to an increase in energy and vitality, often particularly strong in those experiencing lows during the winter months.’ ”
