The goal of Boulder Creek Events or BCE is to create family-oriented events that help to inspire members of the community as well as businesses to get involved and connect with each other. This is accomplished by several popular events throughout the year.
The Boulder Creek Festival will be held Saturday, May 28 through Monday, May 30. The festival, which has been held in Boulder for 25 years is considered to signal the star of summer in Boulder. This popular event includes events, activities for all ages, food, and entertainment. Admission is free to the festival!
While at the festival, stop by the art show held in the “Big Tent.” Enjoy the art work and don’t miss the awards presentation held on the stage on Saturday at 7:45 pm. Outside of the tent is the artists’ marketplace. You can browse the large selection of arts and crafts or you can listen to music at Acoustic Corner. At the Boulder Creek Bazaar, you can purchase crafts, products, or other items. You can also enjoy the food in the Main Food Court or the beer garden. Stop by the Creek Fest West to watch the Great Rubber Duck Race on Monday at 4pm. If you have children, you can stop by the Kids’ Place to take in the kids activities and games. Teens can stop by the Teen Creek Fest for their own set of activities and events including music, art, and healthy activities. On Saturday, May 28th 13th Street South will host a farmer’s market until 2pm. Stop by to purchase great produce and other items.
The Summer Skate will be held May 2nd through September 30th. This event is held at the Flatiron Crossing Mall in Bloomfield. You can skate from 11 am to 8 pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday, Friday and Saturday the skate park is open from 11 am to 9 pm. On Sunday, the park is open from 11 am to 8 pm. It costs $5 for adults to skate; $4 for children ages 4 to 12; and admission is free for children ages 3 and under. Skate rental is $3. Groups are welcome to skate. Groups of 10 or more people will receive a 20% discount off of the admission rate.
Boulder Creek Events also holds other events throughout the year including the Boulder Creek Hometown Fair, a Winter Skate, a Rhythm on the Rails concert, the Longmont Oktoberfest, and the Twenty Ninth Street Live Festival.
