Mini5280 is the motoring society of the Rocky Mountain region.  The group has been active in the community since it was founded in 2002.

Anyone who is interested in Mini Cooper Automobiles are welcome to join the club.  Even those who do not own one…. yet! The goal of MINI5280 is to bring together the mini community by hosting events and family friendly activities. MINI5280 newsletters are available to chronicle the club happenings throughout the year.

Joining the club is easy.  Simply pay your annual dues fees of $27 either by mail or online via paypal at http://www.mini5280.org/membership/index.html.  Dues go to help defray club expenses during the year.  New members also receive a MINI5280 window decal and a sew on patch with their membership fees.  Go here to fill out the membership form to mail

The club sponsors many events throughout the year for members to get to know one another.  One such event will be taking place on Sunday, May 22nd.  Members should meet at 9am at the Starbucks on Ruby Drive in Golden, Colorado.  Bring a picnic lunch and join the group as they make the drive to Poudre Canyon.

On June 4th , club members can attend two events.  The first event is a monthly car show taking place at First and Main Town Center at Colorado Springs, CO.  This is a great opportunity for proud mini cooper owners to show off their cars.  The event is taking place from 7:30 am to 10am.

Also on that day, club members will have the change to take a mini vacation to Scottsbluff National Monument near Scottsbluff Nebraska.  The group will leave 8 am Saturday morning from the MINI of Loveland parking lot and return to the area on June 5th.  In addition to the road trip, there will be a barbeque dinner, a jam session, a night at a Bed and Breakfast, and a visit to the Coca-Cola museum. The cost is $110 a night and includes the barbeque dinner and a full breakfast.

An event on Saturday, June 18th will be held at the RRR Rambler Ranch Run. Club members will meetup at 9:30am at Washington Park and arrive at the ranch at 11:30.  Members will get to tour the ranch and leave about 2pm.  Lunch will be held at the ranch.
