The Bluebird Theater

The Bluebird Theater was originally built in 1913 and named in honor of a local grocer and druggist from the Denver area. It was then re-named in 1922 to The Bluebird Theater. Over the years, the Theater housed many different businesses including a movie house until it was purchased in 1994 as a music venue. In 2006, AEG Live, a live entertainment company from Los Angeles, purchased the Bluebird. AEG Live is the nation’s second largest concert promotion company. After purchasing the facility, AEG took some time to make venue improvements, and the facility was transformed into what it is today.

Numerous concerts are offered at the theatre on an almost daily basis. For more information on concerts, or to see a list of the bands, you can go to the website at http://bluebirdtheater.net/events.php. While you are online looking over the all the great musical acts, you can sign up for email updates, or connect with The Bluebird Theater using either facebook, my space, or twitter. By doing this, you will be sure to never miss out on a great show.

You can purchase tickets for concerts at ticketmaster, or you can save ticket fees by purchasing your tickets directly at the theater. The only catch is that you need to purchase your tickets immediately prior to the event if you choose to purchase them on site. This means that you might miss a good show if tickets sell out early. For more information on getting tickets, call 1-800-745-3000 or go to www.bluebirdtheater.net. You can also purchase yearly passes to the theater which will entitle you to attend every show at the theater. These are great gifts for the music lover in your life or for that special business client or employee that you want to reward. For more information on yearly passes, contact John Caprio via email at [email protected]

Parking for events is located across the street. If the parking lot is full, patrons are asked to park on the street. Be careful where you park as some areas near the theater are residential areas and permits are needed in order to park on those streets.

In addition to offering concerts, the theater also can be rented for events, meetings, or other gatherings. An on-site event planner is available to help co-ordinate events. For more information on renting the site for your next event or private gathering, call the theater at 303-377-1666.
