Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret

admin May 1, 2011 0

Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret is an underground theatre located in the Denver Theatre District at 16th Street Mall and Arapahoe intersection. The cabaret is so named because is lies beneath the Daniels and Fisher Tower.  The D and F Tower is a local landmark and was the first built in 1910.

The Cabaret, which is owned and operated by Lannie Garrett and Jefferson Arca, is a club that offers a variety of theatre shows including vaudeville, comedy, burlesque, and family shows.  Audience participation is encouraged and the cabaret sells costumes for audience members which include wigs, tiaras, fedoras, gloves and boas.  During the show, audience members can dine on delicious appetizers and desserts or order wine, champagne, or cocktails.  The club also offers music concerts featuring artists performing different musical genres. Lannie and Jefferson are no strangers to the stage and are accomplished actors in their own right.  Each of them has extensive experience acting and performing around the country.

To find out more about show offerings or to purchase tickets, go to the website at http://lannies.com.  Once tickets are purchased for a show, your money can not be refunded, nor can the tickets be exchanged for another show.   You can also purchase gift certificates to shows by contacting the box office at 303-293-0075 for more information.  Instead of issuing tickets, your name is simply added to a guest list for a performance.  Doors open 1 hour before performances and guests are asked to arrive before the show begins.  The cabaret reserves the right to seat other patrons in your seat if you have not arrived 10 minutes into the show.

In addition, you can rent the venue for your party, shower, reception, or corporate event.  This is a great way to have a wonderful party with a minimal amount of work.  The cabaret has teamed up with caterers in the area who can provide the food for your event, making your job as the host even easier!  In addition, Lannie can book entertainment for your event or you can bring your own band.  For more information on renting the venue, contact Becky Toma, the private event co-ordinator at 303-805-3885.  To schedule entertainment for your event, simply contact Lannie at 303-331-0744 to discuss options.
