that is a bit excessive. After looking at the paintings again it does symbolize rebirth and renewal which is a clear allusion to the Denver airport. DEN was chosen to replace Stapleton, I don’t think its a conspiracy at all. I find the poem to be very enlightening. It basically is a tale of disillusionment with hat and violence and how one has to grow up when it is realized that those things exist. It seems as though he is saying he is still hopeful and sleeps now only because there is hope for a better day…
